Duai Trip Experience 2023 from Pamela Ross

More exploration of the sacredness of covering...

The first stop in the city of Abu Dhabi was the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque, one of the largest in the world. This was a stunning space. Naturally, this was an invitation to contemplate religion and spirituality. The first thing I noticed was little markings and messages along the way...

- An entry leading in that said "Tolerance Path"

- "Openness and co-existence with all segments of society"

- "Diversity and Harmony"

- As-Salaam-Alaikum," the Arabic greeting meaning "Peace be unto you,"

As I finished my visit and let the little messages resonate, a curiosity rose in me regarding the concept of missionaries which I have known to be Christian and perhaps Morman. But are there Muslim missionaries who travel the world converting people to Islam? I don't know the answer to this question but it had me contemplating a slew of ideas that are deep and complex.

In my covering today, I felt elegant, reverent, and open-hearted By Pamela Ross
