More exploration of the sacredness of covering...

The first stop in the city of Abu Dhabi was the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque, one of the largest in the world. This was an absolutely beautiful space. Naturally, this was an invitation to contemplate religion and spirituality. The first thing I noticed was little markings and messages along the way...

- An entry leading in that said "Tolerance Path"

- "Openness and co-existence with all segments of society"

- "Diversity and Harmony"

- As-Salaam-Alaikum," the Arabic greeting meaning "Peace be unto you," 

As I finished my visit and let the little messages resonate, a curiosity rose in me regarding the concept of missionaries which I have known to be Christian and perhaps Morman. But are there Muslim missionaries who travel the world converting people to Islam? I don't know the answer to this question but it had me contemplating a slew of ideas that are deep and complex.

I would have liked to have visited the Luvre and the museum of the future for more than picture taking. Our travel agents were the best. very attentive and responsive. always on hand and right there when we needed them and very personable. I will definitely be traveling with them again. The hotel accommodation was the best choice as it made our visit that much more grand. we could come in from our tours or lunch or whatever, and straight to the mall which was connected to the hotel. We had a lovely time in Paris and London this past fall. We took the euro train from

 

 London to Paris. The ride was quite lovely.  Paris is a beautiful city, especially at night. The Eiffel Tower lights up and sparkles at night.

​

You can have a candlelight dinner at the top of the tower and view the entire city at night.  The people in Paris were so nice. The French food was excellent.

Scott and I won the trip to Jamaica at last year’s bridal show. We got married on October 1 and left for Montego Bay on Oct 3. We had a wonderful honeymoon. We enjoyed Sandals Carlyle a lot! It was quiet, small, and had great service and food! We loved the opportunity to go to the other Sandals, and then come back to our quiet little place!

I am a student who recently had the opportunity to study abroad in Fiji. I booked through Dream Genesis Travel and I was beyond satisfied with my experience. My travel agent was extremely friendly and knowledgeable about all aspects of the travel industry. I was even given information on current events in Fiji so that I would be aware of anything going on locally. The flight details were very detailed with the times to be at the airport for international flights and I was given a courtesy call to make sure I was at the correct locations and to ensure I had no final questions or problems before departing overseas. Once I landed in Fiji I was sent a final e-mail to confirm I landed safely and had no travel issues during the flight. From departing with such a great travel agent to landing in a great country I must say this has truly been an awesome experience. Fiji is beyond beautiful and is composed of so many different cultures that there is always something new to experience. There are many beautiful natural waterfalls and nature trails. If you are looking for some sun and a nice day at the beach just pick a resort and you will enjoy it! Do not forget you MUST visit at least one village and learn the ways of the Fijians!
